April weather in Gettysburg tends to be mild. Having said that, you need to know that the temperature can range from down right cold at night to the mid to high 70's during the day.  For this reason, you need to plan for the possibilities and watch the weather forecast a few days before you come. We recommend that you bring a raincoat or an umbrella just in case of rain.  Many of the activities are outside in the fresh air.
